| Brian
Siewert, a good friend of Steve's from the old stomping grounds of Stevensville,
Michigan, has become quite a successful musician. He has toured with many great
artists, including Wynona Judd. Brian also composes music for some daytime soap
operas, such as Guiding Light. His work in this realm was so good
that he was awarded two Emmys which is an extraordinary feat. Brian has recently
produced a Christmas album titled Christmas is Love. To promote this album
and to benefit the arts program of his alma mater, Lakeshore High School, a
concert was held on December 22. Brian included guests Leslie Mills (a new
recording artist due to hit the market in Spring 2002) and Laura Bell Bundy (a
singer and actress who recently left her role as Maura on Guiding Light to pursue
work on Broadway) in the show to give the audience other points of views and advice
for today's youth about how to be successful in the field of arts. Brian also
included Steve as a guest because he felt the Outhouses book was highly
inspirational, well it would provide great comic relief for the show anyway. The
show turned out to be a great success. Brian entertained the audience like a pro
and truly touched them by honoring his past teachers and parents with Emmy
contributor certificates. It was a terrific event that celebrated the Christmas
season.
