Mobile Home book reviews keep rolling in

Mobile Homes by Famous Architects, the latest book release from Steve Schaecher (Pomegranate, April 2002)has outpaced its predecessor. After only 3 months on the market, the book has bee favorably reviewed by about a dozen news publications around the country. From the Washington Post to the San Francisco Examiner, Mobile Homes seems to have made an impression (with treads) on the media. The press has even helped the books exposure to some of the famous architects represented in its pages. Robert Venturi was asked during an interview if he was upset by the image of his famous house as a mobile home. Venturi later wrote to Schaecher that he "loved the book and his late mother would be honored to be on the cover". Michael Graves was also contacted by a reporter regarding the book.
